Nile Rodgers becomes LIPA Companion

Nile Rodgers has been honoured by the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, officially becoming a LIPA Companion after attending the institute's annual graduation ceremony, where he was presented with the title by LIPA's co-founder Sir Sir Paul McCartney.

Rodgers is one of several stars, including actress and singer Toyah Wilcox, being recognised for their work and contribution to the industry.
